BringLocality

FOR KOREAN AGENCIES

Your agency runs the campaign, not an intermediary.

A platform for planning, running and measuring KOC seeding campaigns on Douyin and Xiaohongshu, built for Korean agencies. In development, with the first pilot under way.

THE PROBLEM

The barriers are structural, not a matter of effort.

  1. P1

Choosing the right KOC takes a working understanding of China's platform ecosystem and consumer culture. Without it, a good match and a plausible one look the same.

    S1

AI classifies creators by category, content type, audience fit and campaign relevance, and trained reviewers check that classification against profiles and feed content. The scoring criteria come from running these campaigns by hand, not from generic engagement metrics.

  2. P2

Running a campaign means coordinating dozens to hundreds of creators in Chinese. Most Korean agencies have no internal capacity for that.

    S2

Planning, running and measuring sit on one surface. The agency operates the campaign directly instead of briefing an intermediary and waiting for a report.

  3. P3

No dedicated tool exists. Global influencer-marketing platforms do not support Douyin or Xiaohongshu, and Korean influencer platforms hold no Chinese creator data.

    S3

BringLocality is built for Douyin and Xiaohongshu specifically. Every correction a reviewer makes is retained, so matching draws on verified data rather than starting fresh each campaign.

PRODUCT

The surfaces an agency works in.

The MVP under development covers a creator database with classification and scoring, an admin view for reviewing and correcting those classifications, and campaign performance tracking.

WHY BRINGLOCALITY

Three capabilities that rarely come together.

Separately, each of these is common. Together in one founder they are not, and that combination is what the product is built on.

  • Platform and culture fluency

Native-level fluency in how Douyin and Xiaohongshu work, and in the consumer culture behind them. Without it, a plausible creator and a right one are indistinguishable on paper.

  • Agency-side operating experience

Hands-on experience running China KOC campaigns from the agency side, not from a vendor's seat. That is where the scoring criteria come from, rather than generic engagement metrics.

  • Built in-house

The product is engineered in-house rather than specified to a vendor. The person who knows what a good match looks like is the one deciding how the system scores it.

PROCESS

How an engagement starts.

The path runs from a first conversation to a campaign the agency can measure against its current route.

  1. Step 1

    Enquiry and fit

A first conversation covers the agency's China clients, campaign volume and how campaigns run today. It establishes whether there is a fit before either side commits further.

  2. Step 2

    Requirements

Categories, scoring criteria and reporting are defined for that agency's brands. The criteria are set against real briefs rather than carried over as generic defaults.

  3. Step 3

    Pilot

A first seeding campaign runs end to end, together. It is measured against the agency's existing route, so the comparison rests on the agency's own results rather than on a claim.
